Dinkel's World Famous Stollen is based on an original recipe from the 1800's. The current recipe was refined in the 1920's by the founders of the bakery, Joseph and Norman Dinkel. The delicious stollen flavor starts with a pure butter yeast raised dough. Almonds, cashews, pineapple and golden raisins soaked overnight in rum and brandy are mixed into the dough before being hand shaped by our skilled bakers. After baking, it is glazed in butter and lightly dusted with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.
