Dinkel's World Famous Stollen is based on an original recipe from the 1800's. The current recipe was refined in the 1920's by the founders of the bakery, Joseph and Norman Dinkel. The delicious stollen flavor starts with a pure butter dough hand-shaped. surrounding a butter-cream filling, almonds, cashews and fruit soaked overnight in rum and brandy. It is then glazed in melted butter and lightly dusted with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. What you get is an exquisite taste of history.
